Having trouble figuring out what books you need? Frustrated when professors add books, and you don't know about it before it's too late? Want to get your books without breaking the bank? We're here to help!
Why register? Well, you only need to do so if you want to receive emails whenever there is an update to the textbooks in your courses. You won't get emails for price changes, but only for new or removed books. So, why wait?
First of all, this page isn't going to have a lot of fancy legal jargon. Why? Because I don't know it, and I don't feel like getting someone to write it. And... it makes it easier for you to understand.
Creating an account on this site allows you to receive email updates whenever a new book is posted to classes you "follow". To follow a course, create an account, and hit the link in the course information to get updates.
What will I do with your emails? Absolutely nothing! Well, other than send you update emails. They won't be sold, they won't be seen by anyone else. So, you have nothing to worry about.
If you're wondering where the data comes from, it is actually aggregated from the VT Bookstore's website. All listings give you the time in which the last update occurred. If you're still concerned about the accuracy, feel free to hit the
associated with each course to go straight to the Bookstore's page for that course.
Why did I make this? Well, I was tired of having to check every other day to see if my professor's had posted their books (or if the bookstore had posted them...wherever the hold-up is). So, it was partially to help myself. But, why not help everyone? That's why I've made it public for you.
If you're wondering whether I make any money off of this, the only way is if you buy something using the links to Amazon. Even then, it's only a small amount. But, I'm not in it for the money. But if you have the overwhelming desire to help me out, feel free to let me know, and I'm sure I can work it out with you. ;-)
